Wouldn't it be funny if our actual mailboxes said that when we came home? :P
I got a letter today. :) Among the weekly mailers and advertisements, there was an envelope from my friend. :) I love letters and cards in the mail. I'll take letter writing any way I can get it, but there's something so special about getting something via snail mail. :) Makes me think of older times, when the postal service was the only way people kept in contact. I mean relationships grew out of what was written in letters. Family and friends who were too far away could only keep in touch with their letters. Penpals in school. The whole idea of it makes me smile.
It's funny. Gilly and I started out as game mates. Chatting here and there. Then at some point we became texting friends. And now? I think we talk more in our letters. It's kinda fun that way. I mean of course I'd like to be able to talk to her "live", but if I can't this is just fine. While I've sent and recieved cards from other game mates, G's become more of a penpal. :)
Anywho, just thought I'd share. Her letter brought a smile to my face, and I had to share. Sometime this weekend, I'll go through my stationary and pick something out to write back to her. Until then, I shoooouuuuld be replying to an RP or two I have with some friends of mine. Oh, and I'll try and put up pics next post, though all I have are pics of my furry bratlings. :P
